Where to buy D-Mannose

I have recently discovered D-Mannose, and after years of suffering from cystitis I have to say it's been a revelation. :T (If any cystitis sufferers on here haven't heard about it, do Google it!)

The only problem is, it's quite expensive. I have bought mine from a health food shop where it was £22  and online it's £18 for 50g, although the price does go down the more tubs you buy IYSWIM. The brand I've been buying is Waterfall by Sweet Cures, which does seem like a lovely company to deal with.

Having had a look online, there are other sites that sell different brands of d-mannose, but I'm not sure whether there are any differences between brands, and also it's quite hard to see just how much each pack contains, in grams.

So, does anyone have any good suggestions on where to buy it? (Would love it if Boots started stocking it )

I think as long as you buy it from a reputable source D-Mannose=D-Mannose. The thing to look out for is fillers if you buy it in tablet/capsule form. I like and trust the "Now Foods" brand of supplements and they do sell D-Mannose in 85gram pots. You can get it from iHerb.com (US based) but keep the order under 18 pounds (before shipping) or you may get charged tax. Cost is around 22 dollars (14 pounds) plus shipping (an extra 6 dollars). There are first time customer codes available (in another part of MSE) that give you $5 your first purchase.

Thanks for that, will give it a try once I run out of my current supply. I was a bit wary of using US-based companies, although they do seem to offer more alternatives.

It's definitely worth a shot, that's all I can say. I was desperate to try anything, and the difference it has made is unreal. :T

FWIW I've been using iHerb for a while and been happy with their service (as have others here). If you prefer a UK seller (for the same Now Foods product) there's ebay or http://www.cheap-supplements.co.uk/now-foods-d-mannose-powder-85g-tub.html
