    Hey Karen,

I sooo want to try rock climbing, the sports centre near OH has a wall, but right beside it is a cafe, eek! I'd hate for the poor patrons have to look at my fat a$$ whilst having their coffee!

Flat sounds lovely, nice to have a revamped space to work!

Hi Karen - I hope you remember me, it's been a long time since I popped on and wanted to pop back and see how you were doing :D

The climbing sounds very adventurous and just the thought of it is getting me into a sweat, mind you, it's so blinking cold in my office I think I will soon cool down :rotfl:

It good to hear you are still motivated and have the opportunity for OT, sending you cyber jaffa cakes for your determination

    Hello!!!

How are you doing JTR? Good to hear from you. How's things going? xx

Haven't posted in a while, things have just be super busy work, life and everything! Back now and very much focused and determined in every sense.

So big update first.....OH and I have just had offer accepted on our very first home :j We're very excited, like children at the moment but hopefully everything will go smoothly and we'll be in before summer. Great thing is that our mortgage payments will actually be less than the rent we are paying now - very dfw without even knowing it ;)

Won't bore you too much but everything been so good since blip last year and if anything has made us stronger than ever - horrible as it was and hate to admit it but I think it was needed to put things into perspective for the both of us (both relationship wise and personally) - feels a lifetime ago now and focusing on moving forward.

So onto the sensible stuff - money - to be honest i've been really good and although not overpaid debts due to pending house buying I have managed to put a lot of money into savings by cutting back, budgeting etc - all good for once moved in and initial costs have been paid out as means I can throw it at debts.

I've also taken a step back and have been thinking long term etc and now am sorted with accounts etc for short term costs, long term etc and plan to tranfer a little to these each month and so on. Also just about to sit and plan for car costs etc - just getting organised and preparing for future to ensure that I don't ever get into this mess again. Must say i'm actually enjoying it too - madness!

Oh and if anyone wondering why I am posting so early, been up since 5am as couldn't sleep and it is my day off.....:mad: Needless to say the numerous coffees have me bouncing off the walls now!

    Aims for today -
    • Take paper work to estate agents
    • Take paper work to solicitors
    • Take paper work to mortgage broker
    • Daily scratch cards
    • Spruce of flat
    • 30 mins exercise
    • Washing - as much as possible
    • Eat sensibly
Think that's enough to be getting on with, will update later. Aim is to post daily to keep me on track- exciting times and changes ahead....:T
