really? this system cost me well over £400 back in 2008 plus I had to buy the grraphics card which cost me over 80 quid alone so I dont where you got yours from but you got one helluva bargain or a PC thats on its last legs.
I'd be happy to take a look if you lived locally, but i don't think i'm going to pursue your offer if it involves couriers and deliveries. It would probably be easier just to try and sell the console privately. Thanks anyway.

I posted a request on freecycle and just got a rather curt email from another user accusing me of being rude. Presumably he (or she) thinks i'm asking for too much. What can you do.

Maybe I dont fall for sales patter when somebody tells me something is good, technology depreciates at an extremely fast rate.

I honestly cant be bothered with all the hassle that ebay brings so I would be happy to pay for the courier for the PC and PS3 if that helps, the PC is just sitting in the spare room needing a new home and maybe a little bit of a polish.

Anyone know where/how I can get a decent pc. Mine is dying on it's !!!! and it's really old. I'm looking for around 2.5 ghtz p4 or equivalent. Decent graphics. Around at least 50gig HD and 1 gig of RAM (in a pinch i have 512mb on this machine i can swap over, though im not very good at computer DIY at all and don't know anyone who is). This is something I really need right now and if I could swap my silly ps3 for a decent pc i would in a heartbeat. Thanks.

I appreciate your interest, but ebay is fine so long as you deal with good sellers - never less than 100% (and a lot of sales to back that up). But i think i'll see if i can get at least a 2.5 p4 level processor as 2 gig is a little small these days and won't really last.
  • Sorry, but why is this on the low spend freebies board? Surely it should be on the I wanna board?

Lol, I bet you'd be happy to pay for both couriers, after all, with the naff specs on that PC you'd be making a hell of a profit.

I would disagree with the less than 100 percent bit.

I would worry if someone did have 100 percent feedback, and large numbers.

The reason being, its virtually impossible to please everyone, there will always be some nutter that will leave a neg with a comment like "perfect A+++" or neg you just for fun.

Bad sellers can use ebay (and money) to get feedback removed, or put pressure on people to not leave negs. I always find 100 percent more suspicious than close to 100.
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

Athlon XP based computer? You may be lucky to find someone who will take it off your hands if you pay them.....

This seemed the right forum; if it's not then by all means put it in the correct place. I didn't see a more approrpiate forum - this site is info-dense and it's easy for me to miss things :D
