I'm pregnant and I think I'm being treated unfairly. What do I do now?

This is a very nice sentiment but if "advice" this bad is being given out then something need to be done.

Thanks for your response. I quite agree, although it's not currently a priority of mine.

Just to re-iterate, I'm concerned with advice about my employer, not getting a grumpy old man in trouble.

Tbh I think you are trying to use the pregnancy as a defence. You are a manager and if you can't/don't do your job well or properly you can expect a bollicking.

If you cry when you get bollicked then you can expect to be mocked.

If you havent had proper training then why didnt you ask for this or bring it up at appraisals.

As for bonuses, companies are struggling, I am not surprised the bonuses were lower.
Actually pregnant womens hormones can be all over the place it pretty hard work creating another human being so if the op cried then i think she has jolly good excuse bullying of any form is not pleasent and bullying of someone who is pregnant in my mind is pretty low

11 Newbie i would give ACAS a ring your employer is treading on thin ice discrimination in pregnancy is unlawful so you could take action against them.Good luck :D

    Hi, cheers for your response.

I have a paper trail relating to the training request, and the 'go ahead' from them to proceed.

I do not have a paper trail re the RA. I can certainly start that today though.

In case they need reminding bring to their attention duties placed on them in law, specifically...http://www.opsi.gov.uk/SI/si1999/19993242.htm#16 and generally http://www.opsi.gov.uk/SI/si1999/19993242.htm#3: http://www.opsi.gov.uk/RevisedStatutes/Acts/ukpga/1974/cukpga_19740037_en_2#pt1-pb2-l1g2 sec 2 (1)
