Terms and conditions:

1. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over and live in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man & Channel Islands. The promotion is not open to employees and their families of Douwe Egberts, its agents, contractors, consultants or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. The Workers for Better Coffee free prize promotion will run from 00:00 January 11th 2009 - 23:59 March 11th 2010
3. One entry per person. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this rule by, for example, the use of 'script', 'brute force' or any other automated means, that person's entry will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
4. Prizes
   a. There are 50 single serve sachet sticks of Pure Gold coffee to be won on each day that the promotion is running as stated above.
   b. There are 2 Senseo Coffee Machines to be won amongst all entrants to the promotion.
5. Winners
   a. The winners of each of the 50 single serve sachet sticks of Pure Gold coffee per day will be the first 50 people to register their full details including postal address on the Workers for Better Coffee website on each given day (00:00hrs – 23:59hrs).
   b. The winners of the 2 Senseo Coffee Machines will be chosen at random by a person independent of Douwe Egberts and all its affiliated companies, after the closing date of the promotion.
6. The results of the draw are final and Douwe Egberts will not enter into any communications after the closing date.
7. Notification
   a. The winners of each of the 50 single serve sachet sticks of Pure Gold coffee will be sent their prize within 14 days of each given day's award.
   b. The winners of the 2 Senseo Coffee Machines will be drawn on the 16th of March 2010 and the winner will be notified by telephone before the 29th March 2010 and the prize will be sent within 14 days of notification.
8. Douwe Egberts is not responsible for incorrect e-mail or postal addresses, or for problems with entries caused by any factors outside of our control.
9. The result will be made publicly available at www.douweegbertsprofessional.co.uk from 29th March 2010
10. For names and counties of the winners of the 2 Senseo Coffee Machines send a self addressed envelope to the following address: Workers for Better Coffee, Douwe Egberts Coffee Systems Ltd, 225 Bath Road, Slough, Berks, SL1 4AU
11. All prizes are subject to availability and Douwe Egberts reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes of similar value.
12. All prizes are non-transferable and no cash or other alternative is available in whole or in part.
13. No purchase necessary.

I don't like instant coffee though. I do drink it from time to time when I'm presented with it when out & about, but I look on it as a hot drink, rather than a coffee. Give me a double espresso anyday!

When I was very young (pre crimean war) I drank something strong in a green tin from Nestles, think it was called Blend 37, but in those days I drank it with cream and sugar - and that was before I discovered that Nestles were one of the baddies!
