I haven't submitted online but perhaps it means you owe £230 now, as of end of January, and £512 over the year?0

Thanks for replying, I panicked and came on here. I am scared that the thing will time out or something.
I think I should put myself forward as the official stupidest person when it comes to tax. The self assessment form looks like a load of gobbledegook to me. It might as well be written in some obscure foreign language. I feel so stupid and panicky when I try to fill it in. And yet I have the simplest accounts possible! So, where do I get a dunce's hat?0
