Hi all,
does anyone know if I can claim tax back from my bank account bonus.?
In other words, A&L and First Direct are giving £100 bonus if you switch to them. My question is if these bonuses are already taxed (like interest).
Sorry if this has been discussed before... couldnt find anything.

No ..... the £100 isn't interest, so is not subject to the 20% witholding tax. Accordingly nothing to reclaim.
Nice try though.
If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
