    At a guess, I would say they either work for Morrisons or check out the website here:

    Sorry, Ive never noticed this offer before, is it like aldi 5 for 69p? as in all those items are 30p each?

    Sounds pretty cool if so.
    Aim - BUYING A HOUSE :eek: by November 2013!
    Saved = 100% on 03/07/12 :j
  • Yup! I haven't been this week but 2 weeks ago I picked up onions and cherry tomatoes at 30p each. I bought a large romaine lettuce too but I think that was 50p. Can't remember what else was on offer, I was trying to stick to shopping list so didn't look to see what else was there

    I've had a look on internet and can't find the offers listed there. Maybe they change regularly and are store-based so varies from shop to shop.

    I saw this advertised on the TV last night during Big Brother. So it must get advertised even before the offer starts.

    They always start advertising on the sunday evening, so the next trading is Monday morning when the offer starts

    Rooster Potatoes

    I had a look at these this morning, with a view to stocking up on them.

    But every bag I looked at (and I looked at a lot) the spuds were like marbles. Very disappointing. I think Rooster have saved the smallest spuds they have and used them for this offer.

    Looking around I spotted Morrisons own brand which looked the same but the spuds were much bigger. At 80p for 2.5Kg it's only 5p more than buying 2.5 bags of the Rooster.

    What are 'Rooster' potoatoes anyway??

    (I saw them on offer in Sainsburys too this week but can't remember price).

    Rooster

    This red potato is regarded as an all rounder, and has a very distinctive red skin. This variety is a maincrop potato.

    Rooster is suitable for:

    * Chips
    * Mashing
    * Roasting

    You may have seen the TV advert for Albert Bartlett Rooster Potatoes, if not check here

    http://roosterpotatoes.co.uk/

    They are £1 for 2 Kg in Tesco, or £1 for 1.5Kg organic ones.

    The Rooster potatoes on offer are very good in my opinion (I had some last night), but the Red Chief apples are awful (bland and not very crunchy)...
