it is done on an annual basis and based on your self assessment tax returns. In the interim, you will either have an IMA cat D if you have no such accounts (CS1 cases) or a Default Maintenance decision which is a fixed amount until you have your accounts available.0

I thinks if you cant produce accounts for another year they would calculate it at £30 per week (i will try and dig a book out from my paper mountain) until you have accounts available .Or you could get a projected figure from your accountant for potential earnings
Also depends if you are limited or sole trader
Be wary whatever you do as they wont just go away

i would suggest speaking to a good accountant. depending on your line of business, you may be better off going LTD rather than as a sole trader.
with regards to the csa, they hate SE or LTD. :rotfl:
it opens up a whole load of extra work and hassle for them as you are no longer a "soft target" who they can slap a 40% deo on you and you can pay by SO so that they cant take what they like via DD.
it levels the playing field somewhat, you might say! :T
if you need any further advice, feel free to message me.NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.
and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.0 -
