Does anyone know somewhere that will sell you a second hand laptop that is reputable an not too expensive. Know of LAMH recycle in Motherwell but they have never had any in stock when I go in.

could try dell outlet online. fully refurbished laptops of high spec for reasonable price. also have lower spec for lower prices. plus come with one year guarantee0

Thanks but I was looking for something cheaper just to take on holiday and help me do some work while on the move. Don't need anything fancy.0

im on the look out for one aswell.
it might be worth a look in wishaw if your from around this area, theres a few pc repair shops that do repairs and sell refurb units for under £100.
theres also that poor excuse for an indoor market in the old asda in motherwell,i think theres a guy in there that might do this aswell....work permit granted!0 -
Thanks. Will have a look in Wishaw next time I am in the area. The indoor market in Motherwell has now shut down, can't say I'm surprised.0

I've used Technical Progress in Cumbernauld for pc repairs and I know they do refurbished laptops. I spoke to them before xmas as I was thinking of buying a brand new one and they will basically refurb one and rebuild to your spec (also comes with a guarantee).
I think I'll go with them rather than a new one as they've always been pretty straight with me about what I did and didn't need on my pc and what was just a waste of money.
Their premises aren't fancy (they are based at Lenziemill Industrial Estate) but they've met my expectations each time, done exactly as promised and had things fixed when they said so I'm happy to recommend them

I bought a laptop from Technical Progress before and would strongly recommend them. Great service overall.0

Asked in pc shop in Wishaw this week and they were looking for £180. Was the one at the lower end of the main street next to a cafe and Barnados charity shop. Don't want to pay that much. Will contact Cumbernauld one and see what they have in stock. Thanks.0
