    You do get this happen from time to time, but generally you'll get better results the more you practise. I'm sure it'll be fine - and it HAS to be better than any factory-made rubbish you could buy in the shop. You can always serve the unrisen bit sliced with custard or fruit so that no-one will notice if you like.

    On the plus side, you make me think of carrot cake so I've got one in the oven now. Cheers! :D
    If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
