Inverness - Glasgow train

Checked the scotrail website during the week which says there is engineering work between Inverness & Aviemore which is resulting in bus transfers from Inverness to Aviemore to meet the train to Glasgow.
I will be travelling on Saturday does anyone know if this is still the case ?
I was thinking that i could make my own way to Aviemore for the train rather than go on bus from Inverness. Would my ticket still be valid and does anyone know if the actual train times are affected as I am assuming that the bus would take longer than the train.?

Thanks for yoy help x
