All sale stuff has been reduced to £5 and under depending what it is. It is really the luck of being there at the right time for Christmas returns.

Well done on your finds, you must be delighted!

    Lucky find, OP!
My nearest M&S had a sale clearance rail & shelf.
There was a tangle of odd sized underwear - mainly tiny or huge bras, a few battered xmas fancy dress costumes for very little children, a very short size 20 skirt & a pair of 32 waist men's polyester trousers. There was a box of mixed tights, kids' socks etc all odds & sods.
The shelves were almost empty except for some opened packets with no contents, a few battered cards, a chipped mug (£1), a dented retro cannister (£1) and several ribbed place mats in darkish colour.
None of it was saleable imo.

This was the state on Friday afternoon, the very last remnants of the sale - I think the eager sale shoppers had worked very hard since late December to buy everything else. I know I did ;)

  • In my local M&S this week, I was lucky enough to be looking at the rubbish on the sale rail when an assistant brought out an armful of returns!!

I snapped up 8 Per Una items for £5 each!! Very very pleased!

Lucky you! Right place right time! :T

In my store the ladies clearance is actually hidden in the changing rooms, I got 4 scarves the other day for £1 each! Today I got an Autograph mens polo for £3 and a sports bra that was supposed to be £20 for £1. It does pay to just keep checking the clearance rail you just never know what is going to be returned although I am sure the staff get all the real gems quite rightly so, there has to be a perk to a job somewhere!
