:), I took out a loan with nationwide 2 years ago and according to my credit report this month is my last payment :j:j:j My question is, once that payment has come out, do I need to do anything? Like cancel the direct debit or call nationwide to confirm it has indeed been paid off? Or will they contact me? Any help much appreciated. Lauren

You dont need to do anything once the account is settled they will cancel the direct debit and that will be that.
I rang to confirm my account was cleared as they would not send me anything.
