just a quickie to remind you that your favourite free home accessory will be available in a brand spanking new edition from your local argos on july 29th.

there will be the usual RO clearance bargains as well as promotions (eg free balloons and lollypops for kids in store).

Everybodys favourite time of the year.

As a heads up Argos are going to reduce 400 more prices (They may already have, as i can't remember the exact date) at some point this week, obviously this is the RO stock they are trying to shift, i'm guessing this will be supported by a broadsheet as I have only seen the printed list on A4, theres a few alright bargains in there, but nothing that really stands out.... Argos really start their clearance early now

you will find as well that most stuff in the current sales flyers is preliminary RO clearance.

Do you know what is being reduced further? I woulnt mind one the mirrors in the sale catalogue: 624-4853 Gothic Arch Mirror but dont want to pay £20 if its going to go down again.

there is a chance it may be, if there are many left to be sold. but i can no more guarantee it will go down in price than i can guarantee that you will be able to get hold of one if you wait for it to do so.

the thing with RO is that it is Running Out - its a case of grab it while you can

Most stores are re-doing the preview opportunity from last year.
So you can pick up a book from around 3-3:15 on Friday the 28th of July, still can't buy anything new (or get the lower prices) until Saturday morning though.

P.S. Does anyone know the exact date the tesco catalogue launches??

i'm getting all excited thinking about the new catalogue! (i know it sounds sad but ever since i was little it was my bible and i still read through it page by page when they first come out lol!)

as for not wanting to pay £20 for a mirror if it's gunna go down again, i reserve it and extend it for as long as it'll let me. and then as it gets to the last day i cancel the res off and rereserve it lol until the new cats out. then i know no1 else is going to buy it while i'm waiting for the new prices!

im actually saving up as much money as i can at the mo lol cuz i know im going to be spendin loads when the new ro list comes out!

if the mirror is Ro then it wont be dropping in price again unless we are severely overstocked. Most RO in my experience is now targetted to clear before the end of cat as we get little jobbing off after cat ends.
I have very few lines that will be in the clearance flyer after this.

As far as tescos cat goes from what i understand it is a fair way off yet, prob next year although they may do a smaller version for xmas sales.
