    Hate to say this, but I don't think you'll get £50, you can buy the complete set on DVD on Amazon for £69. (I only know cause I was looking at buying it after christmas.) Had a look on ebay, and someone is selling them for £20. ;_;

    Thanks, yes I looked on eBay too and saw they were £20. TBH I didn't think we would get £50 either, it was the figure my daughter suggested, but I think not many people would be interested in the videos anymore.

    I would be happy to give them away on Freecycle, just to get rid of them, but at the end of the day they are hers and not mine.

  • I have to mark, it will look rude if I go out just after they arrive.and they would all take the !!!! if I said I was going for a walk.they are definition of patronising.

    I went through a phase of convienantly being out but it upset Mum. I am also a little it jealous,she gets all this quaility time with mum to do stuff whereas cos I am always at work I only see her for a couple of hours in the evening of tv.

    I shall clean something. lots of things. and open the window.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • can you pretend you are not at home Buffy? Sounds horrible, but might be worth a try?

    It's a shame when you know how much you paid for them when they came out. I guess it makes you realise how much technology has come on, too!

    Sal,
    I so hope that they are wrong and that they back pay you!! (mainly because I hope it means you will be less stressed but also because I really want you to come to my birthday)

    Is that really selfish?
