I was looking on Ebay and found these they match our engagement rings but I was wondering what is the story behind these rings and why are they so cheap

not at all, it does however mean that they are nowhere near as valuable as being made completley from gold. Basically what is done (this is sometimes called 'rolled gold i believe) is they take a cheaper piece of jewellry, and dip it in a precious metal (ie gold, platinum etc) so it gives the look of the precious metal but is actually much cheaper to manufacture.
What this means for you is you get a piece of jewellry much cheaper, but unfortunatly the coating usually wears off, and resizing is quite expensive too with this type of ring.
However its important to remember that white gold (which is what both my engagement ring and wedding ring are made from) is considered very valuable, when infact it doesnt exist, its yellow gold covered with a mix of zinc and another metal, which actually devalues it for me (but we didnt know until we had bought the rings)
Im sorry this post is long, but I hope it helps

Yes it has helped thank you

Yes it would fade, but you can get them re-coated easier than you could get the linked one coated I think.0

white gold is very easy to get recoated. most jewellers can do it, it costs about £30 and you only need to have it done once every 3-5 years depending on how much wear it gets.
i have no idea how u get titanium recoated or how much it costs etcWhat matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
what are you engagement rings made of shel? What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0

We got them in Turkey they are 24crt gold I ordered it to be made white gold (shiny) one side and matt yellow gold the other side the matt gold has faded so need to get that done again or might just leave it white gold
that causes another problem it is a very strange shape so I guess I would only need a thin wedding band I will post a picture to show youIts better to have loved and lost than not loved at all
