and now that i've picked it up i can confirm that it's a great price.. might not be the best quality but it's a 30pieces kit and will do the job!

I just got it, and it's VERY good value for £6! I am very pleased, thank you very much! :)

    Hi all.

Just to say we have used Wickes Master paint and have found it very good - in fact my partner prefers it to Dulux.

Stocked up on Almond White at the weekend to do our bedroom it's a lovely colour.

We've also used Wickes standard emulsion to do our little girl's room and it was fine. Did try the Trade paint once though and wasn't impressed so to a certain extent you get what you pay for.

In the shops it says they are completely revamping all their paint ranges so if anyone uses it and likes a particular colour may be best to get it now. :)

Called in again today to buy paint and was told by the Sales assistant that the reason the paint is reduced is that its the end of line stocks. Whilst they still may get paint in the colours they have had previously, they are now sourced from a different supplier and may not be the exact shade as now.
We found the Masters range as good as Dulux. The Trade paint that we used a few years ago was so thin it needed plenty of coats.
  • Thanks for this - my DD wants to paint her bedroom and this price is just what I am looking for after Xmas! I did have a look at the website but as I haven't bought this paint before I didn't know which one to go for! So I just want to say thanks again for all the posts advising of what one was best.

    Cheers

Thank you so much to OP! Went to Wicks today, spured on by your post, and got loads of paint for a smidgeon of the price it would have normally cost!
