I was mainly fumbling for my Advantage card so didn't pay too much notice and was just expecting her to say it didn't work :o

She didn't seem very helpful or happy, so I didn't get the impression she would go out of her way to help me :rotfl:

I'll go and see if I can find the till receipt thingy and see if that gives a clue!

Right - found the receipt and there are only 2 lines on it, the £7.49 which was the clearance price and the Skinnie line taking £5 off, so if she DID have to do something manually, it doesn't show up........

I DID hear a beep, but as a BB (Baby Bootster) I don't know if it was the good beep or the naughty beep :D

Hope that helps and good luck finding a bargain!

yay- i managed to find the elusive olay definity purple eye giftbox in coventry town centre store today! it was on the reductions stand, took it to the no7 counter and asked the young girl if i could use the skinnie, she said she wasnt too sure as it was a reduced giftset but would try anyway and it worked! the £1.25 i spent on that made the 60p for a snack bag of baby carrots look like daylight robbery lol!
earlier i went to cov ricoh boots to stock up on baby goods with a £5 off £20 spend voucher and spied a few veet rechargable epilators for £15. i rang my sis to get her to check them out online and she said they had good reviews and are usually £78! apparently the veet spray thats included in the package retails for £5.99 on its own.

think they had about 6 or 7 left. there were also lots of moxie tins for 50p and lots of previous no17 gwp eyeshadow palettes (4 colours in card mirror compact) for just 75p.
July- coconut body shop body butter, pom bear football, mini johnsons lotion, Sally Hansen nail treatments

What makes your purchase extra nice
Is when you see the actual price

You've shown your skills, and you'll go far
    Congratulations - you're a star!:D
