Velda Mattress...Any experience?

I'm interested in purchasing a Velda bed. I have seen one in a local store and I’ve fallen in love with it. The make isn’t one I have heard of but it has a good warranty and looks fantastic. What I really like about it is the base. The store will sell it separatly if I decide on a different mattress. They have quoted me £2000 for a memory foam mattress with base, but I can reduce this to £1500 buy getting a different mattress.

What I would like to know is, is this make worth the money? Has anyone any experience of their mattresses?

Please tell me you are joking...........no reflex foam/memory foam mattress is worth more than £500, and I'd say that was expensive. Even if it is the pocket sprung/memory foam option, these are the smaller and cheaper reflex foam encapsulated pocket springs that don't give very good support compared to full size steel pocket springs.

You should name and shame the shop that is trying to rip you off.

i checked the internet for these beds too and they all seem to be around the same price, so its not the shop

Well it must be the brand that are very very over priced then.
