in Cutting tax
I am not VAT-registered and wish to sell a commercial vehicle, an L200.
The van guide values it at say £5000 ex VAT.
Hence am I right in thinking if I'm selling it privately then I advertise it for £5000.
(If I were VAT registered I would sell for £5000 and add the VAT)
Is that right?

Like a priceless jewel buried in dark layers of soil and stone, earth radiates her brilliant beauty into the caverns of space and time.
Stately trees seem to brush the deep blue sky. Clouds billow to form magestic peaks. The songs of birds fill the air creating symphony upon symphony

Yes, you are right - you are not VAT registered so your sale price will be 'ex VAT'.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0
