Emergency Tax?

Hey everyone,

Even though i'm a regular i'm not sure if this is the right place! Anyway, my oh paid emergency tax for six months and has told me we can reclaim this, but we don't know how? I've been googling but I think you guys are the best bet!! Many thanks.

Need more info to give proper help. What period did this 6 mths cover? is he employed now? If so, by the same employer who used E code? Is he on E code now?

Also need to know what code he was on.

He's still employed by the same people, and no longer on E tax.. I'll find the code when he comes in later.. thanks for your help so far

If he is no longer on E tax, then his employer will have refunded any tax overpaid - he may in fact find he paid less tax in the month he went on to 647L cumulative.
