Hi, thats a new one for me. someone should be online later who can help.

I suppose it would depend on the circumstances of BR.

Have you checked on insolvency register and if it an automatic discharge ie a year from date it will say.

    Regards sizzzler

Do as Sizzler says and check the IS register, if you are not on there you should be discharged.

    Hi there.

If this person had gone bankupt a 2nd time, it's likely they would have got a restriction order which can be anywhere between 1 and 15 years depending on the situation.

You can search the insolvency register by searching here:

As long as they co-operate the second bankruptcy would be for no more than 1 year. They might still be elligable for ED. As Matthew says if they have done something wrong they may have a period of further restictions placed on them (although they would still be discharged after 1 year)

ED = Early discharge from bankrutcy in under 12mnths

if you still cant find the person with the link DI provided then its possible they have been discharged as the details fall off the register 3mnths from the date of discharge anyhoo
