Working with children

If I wanted to work with children/teens to hold after school sessions in a community centre and revision sessions for paticular subjects, how would I go about it?
Ofcourse I know I would have to find a market, and I would have to find teachers willing to spare time into this project, consider CRB checks and so on. Can anyone give me a helping hand as to what I would need to do?
I do not want to make any money from this, I was maybe hoping to charge maybe £2 per student to contribute towards refreshments and thats it really.
Thanks in advance

Do you want to set up an after school club or a drop in session? Depending on the ages of the children (0-8) You will have to be registered with Ofsted if you look after children for more than 2 hours a day.
It would also be a good idea to have a CRB check. You will have to pay for a CRB check (Criminal Records Bureau)
If you choose not to be registered with Ofsted and only run you group for 2 hours only! At least a current CRB check will make parents feel more secure that you have been checked and cleared.
Think about your costs. Venue fees, food or drinks and insurance. Depending on which type of premises you hire, they may ask you to be insured.
Hope that all helps! PM me if you need any more help. I used be a childcare provider!0
