My S.O.A. - inc Payday Loans Nightmare

  • Trouble with that is the debt will then be secured against the house and it could cause problems in the family and if the OP were to loose their job or stop paying for any reason - illness/accident etc then their parents home could be at risk - I really don't think that it is really an option worth exploring to be honest.
    The OP is doing well. However if they could borrow some money off their parents then yes that might be an option if the parents were in a position to lend more money.

    Do you actually have the £500 left each month or is that vanishing as well?

    If so then can you not do this:
    Pay off PayDayuk £412.50 one month
    Then QuickQuid £485
    Then PaydayExpress - £350
    etc etc?

    Well done for facing up to your debt

    So, my plan in steps is;
    1. Clear Payday Loans
    2. Clear Credit cards, using snowball calculator
    3. Clear family debts
    That is my plan, therefore;

    Payday loans - 3 months - Cleared
    Vanquis - 2 months - Cleared
    Barclaycard - 6 months - Cleared the majority

    Thanks
    Debt 2007 = £30,000
    Debt Aug 2012 = £600
    Debt Jan 2014 = £15,000 :(

    Looks like you're sorted with what you're doing for a while at least.

    Good on you for facing up to it all and wanting repay thing rather than looking for an easy way out, I wish more people had your determination.

    Good luck and let us know how you get on?
    Bank loan £7,753 3% APR Exp 11/2013

    Ah sorry I thought you were asking for advice on how to tackle it all :)

    Good on you for your plan :) I am sure it will all work out, and it will be a relief to get the payday loans off your back.
