Fruad on my address ? dunno what to do next?

Hiya
I got my credit report from equifax and it seems the last person who lived here is claiming money through their bank, I am presuming loans or overdrafts.

I rang tsb and they do not want anything to do with it, they say they cannot do anything unless this person tells them he has moved!

I have rang the police and they are sending someone round

any advice on how i get this taken off my credit report

Thanks.

    Contact Equifax.

You shouldn't have anyone else's debts on YOUR credit record, unless you are financially associated with them.

You need to complete a notice of disassociation

Only if you have had shared financial products with someone should their details show on your records.

To be honest I wouldnt have counted this as fraud and I am surprised that the police are sending anyone around. Have you not received any bank/ loan/ credit card (sorry wasnt sure which you ment by the "claiming from their bank") for them at the address?

As DFC says, just complete a notice of disassociation and it should remove them from your file.
