hello
went into boots today and saw that they had some lovely red christmas cards with branchs cut out of them (the front page is red while when the branchs are cut out you can see the white paper that is behind them) and then in the middle they have two little reindeers and two trees either side of them
o they dont sound that good but they are lovely and rather than £5 per pack (they have 5 per pack) the were £1.25 for 5
now my question is what do you include in the invite and do you really have to match the whole theme to the invatation?!
we want red gold and green folage for the colours (its a december wedding) so if i used the red cards with reindeers as the invite do i have to have reindeers on everything or can i just have things like gold card with red names on the place cards and gold menu card with red inserts and then gold writing?
does that make sense i hope so
thanks

Of course you don't have to have reindeers on everything! I'm not going to have everything all matchy matchy. They sound lovely and very bargaineous!I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

Very MSE!! :money:
Surely you can do whatever suits you best ... unless you want to have a reindeer themed wedding, you definitely don't have to put them on everything so long as the colours all go together somehow. TBH when I have had wedding invites, I never go to the wedding and check to make sure the invites have 'gone' with the wedding colours!
Sounds like a great price for the cards but do they not have Merry Christmas in them or are they blank??? I think its a nice idea though as presumably you will send them out Oct/Nov time and people will think they are receiving a VERY early christmas card at first!

the have the words Christmas wishes in small writing inside the cards but we are going to put gold paper then type the text on red paper and stick them inside the card so you wouldn't have a clue

and no we dont want lots of reindeers actually we want none it was just the scene reminded me of when i went to lapland as a child and was very happy but classy and classic
hense where the red and gold will tie in with everything (i hope )
i will get a picture up at the weekend when i can load all my pictures up

Hi there
You can either click the little link icon at the top and put the image location in there or use the picture icon to get the picture actually in the body of your post
They look nice and it won't matter if you don't have reindeer (real or fake) at your wedding! Do people really notice these things? I hope not as I'm not being very matchy with my wedding...0
