Wanting to buy a chip van-anyone have any suggestions!?

Hi everyone
I would like some help!!My hubbie is looking to buy a chip van to start his own business-hes already a chef so possibly even looking for a catering unit or something similar.
Does anyone know of anywhere that sells second hand ones?We have tried the only place we could find-buttlers Randlestown-but they only had lovely shiny sparklie new ones nearly the price of my house,LOL.
Perhaps you know someone that is planning to sell theirs?
Or even if you have one yourself i would love to hear any suggestions you have!
We are willing to travel anywhere really, anything for a day out, lol!
I really appreciate your help.
thanks,laura.

This is so weird because I seen one in the paper the other day and was thinking it was such a random thing to be advertising lol. Anyway it was in the North Belfast News, I've thrown out the newspaper now but I think the price was around £2k and said something about being ready to work straight away.

If you want anymore info PM me and I'll try remember some more details.

Don't forget autotrader is online - you can do some quite specific searches too!

Make sure you've got some work lined up for the van before you buy anything - a lot of people get stung buying the gear and then having nowhere to sell from.

Check with the council about approved zones, street trading licences, etc., unless you're only going to do private events, ie shows, festivals, etc. And the competition's fierce! But the best of luck with it, anyhows
