Littlewoods collections - Help?

Hey,
I have a real issue with my debts and have applied for a DRO via the national debtline.
However it has been 4 weeks and they still have not actually started it and they told me it will take 8 weeks due to delays.
My debtors are all threatening me with collections agencies etc.
My biggest fear however is Littlewoods. I owe them £1400 in arrears, and they would not accept a payment plan of £50 a month. They have now passed me to collections.
I am on JSA so I could not even pay that really, as my last job contract ended.
Now I am so worried they send collectors to my Parents house as that is where I live at the moment as I could not pay rent anymore. I am pretty sure my parents would kick me out then..
Is there anything I can do? What is the collections process?
Please help!

You are on JSA, you live with your parents.....what do they think they are goning to get?
Tell them all this, send them a £1 Postal Order as a gesture of your goodwill and tell them that you will do all you can to repay the debt when you get a job.
They are NOT allowed to send a Collector without an appointment and a Collector has less rights to go on your propertry than the milkman!
:D stay wonky
:D

we were threatened with door step visits/ collections, repossession, legal actions etc, however we continued to make the reduced payments that were all we could afford and luckily none of the threats came to fruition.0

Just to elaborate on the above: sending a postal and not a cheque is important as it limits what information you give them. Sending a cheque means not only do they have all your bank details (sort and account numbers), but also a signature.
Keep on this forum and keep asking questions, there are a lot of experienced people here who can help and offer advice as things unfold.0
