Best place to buy business cards

  • I've used Vistaprint several times before without any problems. The last time they printed cards for me, I wasn't entirely happy with the colours so they printed the entire order again for free without a quibble (at their suggestion). They used to send me a lot of email but that seems to have stopped now (I did order a lot of cards which have lasted me). Hope you find a company you're happy with.

I cannot recommend these highly enough http://www.dreamstationery.co.uk/index.php

Their products are high quality and would recommend them to anyone.

I used dream stationery not so long ago, I got some business cards and some personalised invitations for my Daughters party. Absolutely brilliant service, really fast and they came well packaged so none were bent or damaged. Highly recommended!
  • Even if you are really struggling for cash, don't go for the Vistaprint freebie deal.

When I set up my company a few months ago after redundancy, I did everything as cheaply as I could. I don't use a traditional chartered accountant, I use an online system called Crunch. I ordered my paper, post-it notes and pens from eBay. I was even donated a PC from my last place of work.

But I needed business cards, I needed letterheads, I needed compliment slips. I looked at Vista as they advertise free business cards, but what they don't tell you until really far into the process is that they have 'Vista' branding on the back of them.

Then I found a company online remco-graffix.com who really do provide a great service with cheap business card, letterhead and comp slips - and they don't ask for their branding to be all over them! They even have a really good offer on at the moment (I missed out on this unfortunately!). Google Remco Graffix and then click on special offers.
  • I get my business cards done at, printdo.com, good quality and great prices. 5,000 cards for $49.99, can't go wrong with that!
  • Yes vistaprint can be a pain with the emails but you can opt out of them - bliss once you discover the tickbox.
When you order it is plus postage plus vat etc and when you have finally confirmed order they will offer you extra quantity for a bargain price if you confirm within ten minutes eg order 1000 and get an extra 500 for £3ish, so order less at first

I have used vistaprint over the last 3 years without problem. Paid with Paypal for the last few orders.
  • I recently used Interprint.co.uk for some flyers and they were probably the most helpful and friendly printers I have used to date. They even did the photography and the design for the flyers. They do print business cards and you can either supply your own artwork or use their designers. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Depending on your business and the image you want to portray, either Vistaprint for cheap and cheerful, or develop a good relationship with your local Printer or High Street equivalent. If your a mobile hairdresser, keep the OH low and your customers wont mind. If your an Accountant, a bit of sturdy quality wont go amiss.

Moo.com are fantastic, they have a an offer where you can get 10 FREE cards (you pay postage).

With moo you can have a different image on every single card, so there excellent for me as im a photographer and i use them as a portable portfolio, my friend is an artist and she does the same. Plus you can design BOTH sides of the card. And they arrive in gorgeous usuable sturdy boxes.

Theyare fantastic quality and after using MOO, NO WAY would i ever use vista again, no wonder business was slow before, my vista cards were pants in comparision to the MOO cards, now i have clients asking me if i have had any new ones printed yet as they want one.

    Invest in your business cards.

Theres a million and one uses for the cards. If you join their blog they regulary give out discount codes.

I had an order arrive 1 day late, as it wasnt delivered on the date they said it would be I emailed to ask if there was a problem. They immediately replied, saying that there had been a problem with the printing machine and an extire batch or cards which mine were included in had to be reprinted, hence the delay, and as compensation i could choose any product i liked and they would send me a code to buy it. So i thought i would be cheky having only bought 50 business cards for £13, and i requested the greetings cards at £23, and my code was emailed to me within 15 minutes.

The customer service is fantastic. The cards are fantastic, and i find it really hard to not buy anymore.
