Laura Ashley / Quidco help please!

Hello All,

I hope this is the right thread but I am after some advice about buying a Laura Ashley sofabed...and Quidco.

LA are offering 8% cashback at the moment and I am trying to purchase a £675 sofabed which would give me £54 back.

The problem is, I have been trying to purchase sofa bed through the LA website for over 24 hours and there seems to be a problem processing payments (customer services sort of implied there was yesterday but was very cagey). My credit card company say they have been trying to approve the payment so there's nothing wrong there.

I called customer services again this morning and they can order it for me directly but refused to take off the £54 I would have got from Quidco if I could order online - they also didn't admit they had a website problem.

I have experienced weeks of awful customer service from LA so I am now tempted to go elsewhere but the sofa bed is exactly what I want and would fit my small room so also wondering if I should just forsake the £54 cashback (but that hurts)!!

Any helpful suggestions or information would be gratefully received! :)

Thanks, GL.

This is a little concerning as I'm wanting to buy a couple of sofas from LA in the next few days. I do hope they can get it sorted in time.

I am also going to be paying with a new Amex card that I applied for, which is meant to give 5% cashback for the first 3 months, so that will be a bonus.

Call me greedy ;) (the sofas are already heavily discounted!) but I actually came on here to see if there were any vouchers that could also be applied.

    Does anyone know?

    Thanks.

^^ Be aware that using vouchers that are not issued by Quidco can mean your cashback is cancelled. Doesn't always happen (they don't always catch it) but when they do it can mean your better off not using any discount codes.

OP, I'd contact customer services, explain the past issues with the service (or lack of) and how they are letting you down again. Explain how your discussing it on an open (and popular) forum and others have suggested you go elsewhere. See if they don't start to get their act together!
