It will most likely be a Medion model. Which is no bad thing in my book, although there are much better deals on Medion-branded GPS units on the net.
Here's an example:
http://www.easydevices.co.uk/pp/Dedicated_GPS/Medion_Sat_Nav/MEDION_GO_PAL_PNA350_WITH_UK_AND_IRELAND_AND_TMC.html
This is the same price as the Tchibo unit but includes the incredible TMC (traffic management channel) which automatically re-routes you when it is told of a traffic snarl-up. Some navigation companies charge £170 just for this unit itself.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
The Medion one is cheap but dosent get good reviews

You have to consider that the review is based on the machine when it was £299, though, deanos. I'm suspecting if it was reviewed as a £170 machine then (with no-sub TCM already included in the price) for the money it would just about be unbeatable?I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0
-
Yes with the TCM it is unbeatable, but the trail of wires and setting up and putting it away every time you stop could get annoying.0
-
Agreed....but probably much less annoying than getting stuck in a 5 mile taliback on the M25! Lol.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0
