Lady gaga comp, poss email scam

Wonder if they got a list of entrants to the Lady GaGa comps... sounds like it. Might be worth informing the competition organisers. Not nice... sorry it's turned out to be spam.

Could it possibly be the email address they have set up for dealing with competition wins? They may not want it coming through their usual email. I'm sure we'll find out soon but, like i said before, they did say to winners that we'll be contacted by email. Hopefully it's all legit. x

I have also received this email this morning. I won a cd, t-shirt and scarf. I've Not received emails regarding the other prizes so I'm not replying to this one, the whole email looks dodgy ie "hi,ya" and "reply me". Will wait and see what happens, if it's genuine I'm sure they'll try to contact us again.

Hi, just to say everyday sale are saying on their website that they are sending emails out asking for phone numbers x x:D

Hmmmm well I spoke too soon, I have now had one of these emails too. I also won a Tshirt but no mention of that. Don't think I'll be replying just yet though...........

I got that mail too (I posted a note in the main comp thread).
The things that are suspicious are that (a) the reply address is hotmail, and (b) the link to the site in the signature is in China.
I've also sent a message to the !!!!!!.co.uk people.

To make sure you can get the CD from our supplier, we have contacted you for requiring the contact number with the email address ladygaga.!!!!!!@hotmail which is temporarily official confirmation email address.

You may reply with your contact number directly to this email [EMAIL="roy@!!!!!!.co.uk"]roy@!!!!!!.co.uk[/EMAIL]

Once we get your contact number confirmed, we will notice the supplier to deliver the CD to you directly.

Hi I just got this email to.

I find this one more believable than the other as it came from !!!!!!.co.uk and not the dodgy hotmail one and he says you can email the number to the eds email.

I wonder if its because some of us emailed about yesterdays.


Im going to reply with my mobile no. but im also going to ask who the supplier is that their passing it on to.

I'll let you know what happens.
