    Right,
It seems like the hunt is on for the cheapest RC plane/helicopter!

We might get moved but, hey, let's live a little! ;D
  • To be honest this should not be in the "Quick! Grab it while you can" forum.

I bought one from a discount store a few months ago for about £15 - £20.
It's alright for a bit of a gimic but the control you have over it is very very limited.

There is not way this used to go for £80 - you have been warned.
    something missing
  • theyre crap don't bother

give lots and you will always recieve lots
  • agreed.  Bought one on ebay for £30 about 7 months ago.  broke blade on second flight, sold as broken 2 months ago for about a tenner.

The control was simply press harder to give more power.  Looked identical to the one in the picture.

I must admit we were very disappointed by the airhog plane :(
We got the 40 pound one in the new year and only flew it once and it broke.
We also bought the pump action one which was only about 8 pound as well and that was much better.
    :)
  • Helicopters are supposed to be one of the hardest things to control, so presumably they would need to be fairly robust...

"Flies for up to 10 minutes after being launched from the ground or by hand. "

Looking at it I think I can understand what they mean by making that claim.

Do I detect a certain element of cynicism in that last post?
