Best 'Free' CD Burner?

Having real troubles finding a free CD burner that doesn't constantly stop half way through thanks to errors. I've wasted loads of discs thanks to loads of rubbish programmes. Full versions of Nero and Easy CD Creater (Roxio) don't detect my CD Drive.
Cheetah and Drop Cd were good, but were jsut 7 day trials.
Anyone know of any good free burners?

have you checked roxio/nero to see if there any updates that support your drive?
