    Just rang. Nice women on phone. Said she'd had a few enquiries re the Canon Ixus 60. She said she had been briefed by her manager to tell customers that they have had severe problems sourcing the camera. She said no stock expected for atleast 3 weeks.

    Surprisingly she did say if I checked pricerunner or kelkoo other suppliers had some in stock - strange thing to do really! I'd have thought she'd atleast try sell me another in the range! I said all competitors were much more expensive and she said she didnt know and very little info had come her way.

    Final comment was that she'd note it for her manager on monday, note when I was going away, and stress I wanted it before then. She didn't sound to optomistic I'd get it.

    I got the impression she didnt even check her stock system, the answer came "too" quick if you know what I mean!?!

    She said she's had many calls on this and would push her managers to send an update monday.

    Just an additional note - i rang my local jessops yesterday and they couldnt get me the Ixus 60. So god knows whats going on with there stock system.

    A little update (sorry if already being discussed - I've had a quick look but couldnt see it).

    While I was out today apparently jessops rang saying that the camera was back in stock, but they wanted to talk to me before dispatch.

    things looking up again:-) Anyone else had similar?

    Last week, received a call from Jessops to confirm if I still need the camera....I certainly said 'Yes' -:)

    Received the camera on Friday !

    On the phone now to them she is taking a new order at the offer price and will be dispatched today :)

    Yep, I've just phoned and a nice lady phoned back to take the payment details again. Anyone got any good links for the accessories e.g. memory cards and cases?

    Totally forgot about this thread! I got the call yesterday, problem is I already bought the camera for £156 (£2 more) at Dixons with the Egg offer last month. So I'll ask around work if anyone wants it but I'll probably end up cancelling it.

    Typical, I was desperate to get this at the offer price a couple of weeks ago and now I can have two if I wanted.

    Jessops came good in the end, they must have had a lot of complaints :D
