    Well, for what it's worth, I didn't get the job. But I'm about to apply for another which I am much better suited for, the hours are such that I could still volunteer AND the pay is good enough to get me off JSA (though not housing)! So there are jobs like that out there ... I just really hope I have a shot at it.
  • To me it sounds like claiming benefits are part of your 'lifestyle' that is wrong. Its great that you are volunteering but its not really volunteering when the tax payer is supporting you is it?

    You should be looking for a full time job and to come off benefits.
