Low fat desserts / Treats

I'm on a low fat, low calorie healthy eating diet, but I've got the biggest sweet tooth in the world and I'm looking for treats I can make and eat once in a while.

Something like a cookie or a slice of cake that is low fat and no more than 100 - 150 calories would be great :)

  • My favourite low-fat low-cal dessert is a small meringue topped with a portion of mixed berries (I buy Aldi frozen ones) and finished off with a tub of WeightWatchers fromage frais spooned over (I like the forest fruits one with the fruit at the bottom) Quick, easy and deliciously satisfying to a sweet tooth! And not much more than 120 cals!

  • Me too with the sweet tooth! I find a small pot of homemade fruit jelly works to satisfy it.
Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!
  • Weetabix cake is a good one too, its a bit like a cros between malt loaf and fruit cake but much lower in fat and satisfies your sweet tooth without consuming loads of calories, I'll try to dig the recipe out but if you look on the slimming world website it might be on there.

I have a massive sweet tooth also, another thing I make is a slimming version of eton mess, you get some fromage frais and sweeten it up with splenda or sweetener to taste, then crumble a meringue into it, then add some raspberries (frozen ones that you defrost first are best) and its gorgeous and really low fat

Just notices travellingabuela's reply, its very similar and yes I can vouch for how yummy these desserts are!!
