Mortgage Advice NI

Hi, this is my first post so go easy on me
My now fiancee and I are looking to buy a home for our very first time. We are from Northern Ireland and I have read that it is important to go to a "whole of the market" broker for the best deals. I assume these do not include banks??
As for the type of mortgage is there any advice in relation to the current market situation (i.e is it expected to climb considering its at its lowest)
Help and avice very much required
Thank you

No harm in doing your own research - some deals might be only available through a broker, others directly from the lender.
Have a look on here http://www.moneysupermarket.com/ I'm sure others will give you other helpful links.
How much is your deposit, what's the value of the houses you're looking at and what's the salary multiple?0 -
Thank you for that Im hoping to buy at roughly 150-160k region with 25-30% deposit as ive a bit of research on sites like you have mentioned above and would work out at paying back roughly 650pm, this is the rough amount i want to be paying (as i want a life as well lol). our salary combined for the year is roughly 36k at present0

Sounds like you know what you're doing - I'd go to an advisor and see what they can offer you and see how it compares to any deals you've found yourself online.0

Thanks, can anyone recommend any in NI?0
