We bought a slow cooker at Christmas (LOVE it!!!) anyway, I cooked turkey and ham on Sunday and made a FANTASTIC
pie with it..we had some in our lunch on Monday and the rest has been in tupperware in the fridge since Sunday....would it still be okay to eat if it's re-heated thoroughly!?!?!?!?!?!? Not going to give to the kids just my hubby and I!?!?!

There's no need to laugh - that's a perfectly reasonable question.
I'd go with my usual answer of - if it looks alright, smells alright and tastes alright, it's probably alright.
I wouldn't leave it any longer than today, though, just to be on the safe side.Back after a very long break!0 -
Personally anything up to a week (if kept in a fridge) we would eat.)
There will be plenty on here that will disagree.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
4 days is ok as it has been in the fridge and stored correctly, just eat it up today if you can.If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
Spring begins on 21st March.0 -
I'll use it up to 5 days after cooking if it's been in the fridge, so using it today will be fine.0

The Food Standards Agency advice is cook once and reheat once. So if you cooked the meat first in the slow cooker and then made a pie and cooked that, that would technically be the first reheating.
Having said that if it has been kept in the fridge, you did the checks CCP mentioned and it is thoroughly reheated til piping hot right through, I would definitely eat it!!0 -
I'd eat it!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

sorry Bronnie...I might not have been clear enough in my first post...I was too busy trying to figure out what to have for dinner tonight!!! ;o) There were plenty of leftovers of the 'turkeyham' AFTER I filled the pie so it's these bits that I'd stored in separate containers that I was wondering about..they've only been cooked once so far.June 2012 Clydesdale Loan=[STRIKE]£12620[/STRIKE]£1246.47- (only 5 payments left but just received £3955 back from it for PPI!!!)0

I'd freeze the leftovers until I'd figured out what I wanted to do with them.If we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?0
