Quidco!?

I just posted this on the DFW part of the forum, but on reflection maybe i will get my answer here...

I recently joined quidco, and am joing Weight Watchers this week

I looked on quidco and saw this in the link for WW

http://www.quidco.com/weightwatchers/

Can someone explain what this means? I get £30 back for joining? It only costs £29.95 to join...

How do i get it to work?

  • Hi There,

I'm a big fan of Quidco!! Have had a look for you and its looks like you get £30 cashback when you sign up for 3 months online. It says there's no joining fee, so you wouldn't have to pay the £29.95 you've mentioned, meaning you'd be £30 in profit!

It does say on Quidco the offer ends 31st Jan 2009 but it might mean 2010?

"WeightWatchers are offering Quidco members the chance to sign up to their 3 Month Plan with No Joining Fee! This equates to a massive saving of £29.95. This offer ends 31/01/2009"

That link sends you to a page that will redirect you to the ww site, with the correct tracking information in it. Well, I hope it will! Quidco seem to have gone to a lot of trouble to hide the actual link you get sent to.

If you look on some other cashback sites you will see links that clearly have your membership info on the end. Just hover over the link and look at the status bar.

Quidco, and some other sites have made it so you can't verify your details are in the link before you click it, you just have to trust them.
  • you must be joking the only palms that getted greased are they'res. the best cashback sites are fatcheese, topcashback and quidco. i dont like quidcos new site but they are very reputable unlike greasypalm.

Every query raised with Quidco has resulted in payment, they are excellent, even though there new site is dreadful.
  • Hi there,

I've joined weight watchers online through quidco 2 weeks ago.

You pay £29.95 for 3 months subscription, the joining fee (normally another £30 on top) is waived and you get £30 cashback.

So in short, you pay £29.95 and get £30 back again so you get the 3 month subscription for free and 5p profit! Not bad really if you were going to join anyway :j
