I'd wait till your bf is out of the other mortgage before reapplying that sound like the show stopper in this instance.

So you've been refused once and that was because the product wasn't available? Not the time to panic yet then and the underwriters may pass it - you'll have to wait and see at the moment. If it is declined, ask why and take it from there.

How did you manage to make an application if it is not a product they sell??

Because i was told over the phone that they rarely provide this deal and havent for a year.

First and second applications have now been rejected. I cant apply for a 3rd as it will affect the credit score even more. They would not tell me the reasons for being rejected over the phone, is it possible to get the reasons for a rejected application? Writing to them perhaps?

Have you checked your credit file? There maybe something lurking that you were not aware of. Also nis you b/f being honest with you about how much he owes etc? How long until b/f out of his mortgage?

Both of our credit scores are coming out as 'good' on credit expert. We have looked over the credit files and there doesnt seem to be anything untoward. As i have seen my b/f's credit report (i set it up) i have seen everything he owes etc. Well he has a meeting with his mortgage provider arranged for early Feb and we have been told that after this meeting it is a mtter of his mother taking over the mortgage. Is there any way of finding out why applications have been rejected? As this would help us in rectifying the mistake?
