Im doing the princes trust team programme what lasts 12 weeks ive been told i can claim jobseekers and adult learning grant aswell does anyone know if this is true.Ive checked the website out and says nothing so can anyone help me.:beer:

Hi bigmacman

Unfortunately you've been misinformed. You can't claim JSA and ALG at the same time, and in any case, you can only get the ALG if you meet the following criteria:

To be eligible for ALG, the course you take must lead to your first full Level 2 or first full Level 3 qualification. You must also be studying full time – at least 12 hours a week (equivalent to 450 hours of ‘guided learning’ a year, or 150 hours a term) - and attending college regularly.

you can claim JSA and you may get a small extra training allowance of £10 on top of your JSA whilst doing the programme.

It's a fab programme - I'm a team leader
