Bosch Fridge Freezer

Options
:) Just purchased a new Bosch fridge freezer from Comet. Their advertised price is £259 but Currys and John Lewis have the same model for £199. However, neither store has it in stock so Comets price match does not apply.

The nice sales lady however, told me that Comet have a British Gas promotion code for fridge freezers which allowed her to reduce the price to £199 and I took the fridge away today.

Just ask!!

  • do you know the model number?

Is it the frost free one cause i saw one at comet advertised for £199 that was frost free?- i think it was 170 cms high and 60cm wide but I can't recall the model number

  • Yep - same one as Comet advertise model No KGU30604GB frost free.

Poblem with Comet & John Lewis is that they do not have them in stock and item is for delivery only at another £20

We did the same thing from Currys and got the fridge freezer 2 days ago. It is amazing! Frost free, anti-bacterial, "A" energy rating. A really great buy for £199!

That is a very good price Danie.

Comet do also appear to have it in stock on line and include free delivery, but no mention of British gas code, could be an in-store thing.

Did you pay delivery in-store Danie?

You can see the full spec here:

  • I was in a secondhand electrical shop the other day and overheard a funny convo. The lady had just been to Comet and had asked the sales assistant what they thought about the appliance(fridge freezer I believe) and they replied with "It will probably last a year and a day, the guarantee is for 1 year". Honest atleast......

But as always I would also say check out you local euronics dealer. you can find them here: http://euronics.com

Mt local one will try and price match the big companies but won't guarantee they can match them. They usually have some special deals and sometimes items only Euronics can sell as they are large and deal with companies directly.
  • Thanks very much for this info. My mum & dad are looking for a new fridge freezer as theirs has just packed up!
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)
