in Loans
Hi Guys,
I am young and got my first loan for a car (very happy...
But for the first payment the Bank billed the wrong account which was empty, so I was charged a penalty and now the loan has not been paid.
Now the account the billed (starts with a 4 so we'll call it '4') was empty as all my money is in another account beggining '8'.
The account on the loan agreement which is signed by the bank is the account with the '8'
Now obviously they have gone against this agreement and fined me, also probably damaged my credit history, which being a young guy who plans to have a mortgage in the next year or 2, is REALLY annoying.
Apart from getting the issue resolved (which I am sure they will do amicably having broken the contract..) is there any compensation I should be entitled to for the damage to my credit rating, and undue stress caused by their fine etc..?
