cheapest place for simple furniture?

hi guys, i'm trying to re-do my livingroom, i'm looking for coffee tables, sideboards, tv solutions.. that kind of thing. i've been looking at ikea but i'm not sure if there's actually somewhere better? if there is then please do tell!

The British Heart Foundation have a number of stores across the country selling good quality second-hand furniture. Might be worth a try.

Get yourself down to dumbarton road in the west end. Got your BHF, and loads of other wee charity shops way along the road that do some good furniture. Good one on Dumabrton road is also the Sally Army - sometimes it can be pot luck tho as to what you get. But if you are willing to wait, something does usually come up.

Also Gumtree AND Freeshare/Freecycle. Again, if you are willing to wait you can get some cracking stuff.
