Since getting engaged at new year i've been coming on this forum absorbing all the fantastic MSE tips and ideas, but being a bit of an artsy/craftsy lover I am itchy to give something a go (but im not getting wed for another 2 1/2 yrs)
I was going to have a go at making the button boquets but I wouldn't necessarily want to keep it, and may spend too much and have an abundance of buttons left over in the process.
Can anyone think of anything useful and cheap I could have a go at? Maybe someone wants to see a dummy run of something... or maybe if anyone is interested i could have a go at the Button Bouquet and see how it turns out.

why not see if you can get buttons from a charity shop or market stall to not spend too much? or how about trying out making favours etc that can be given away as birthday gifts?"Normal is not something to aspire to - it is something to get away from" - Jodie Foster0

Good idea about the buttons from markets etc i was thinking of that the other day, for the special top buttons.
I have decided to have a go at the cufflinks (as mentioned on a previous post today).
Once materials etc have arrived i'll try give it a go and post some pictures (if i can find out how to do that lol)
Then perhaps move to another project

What about invitations? Doesn't have to be what you'll actually use but if you buy some coloured card/felt tips/nice pens, you might come up with an idea of what you want your invitations to look like.0
