Please help - at my wits' end with Barclaycard/Mercers (sorry Long Post)

Hi there,

Barclaycard are messing me around re. my Payplan offer. Say they haven't received anything, etc.

I received a statement on the weekend saying they'd passed it to Mercers and I was to call them. I did immediately and Mercers transferred me to India - the people I've been talking to in the past!!!

I rang Mercers again and they said that as I had made two payments (albeit reduced), Barclaycard had taken my account back!!! !!!!!!???

I can't cope with this anymore! I JUST want to get on with paying my debt back but no one will listen to me.

I have a number which Payplan gave me at the start which they said to give to creditors, although Barclaycard keep asking me to get Payplan to ring THEM!

Barclaycard know that I am with Payplan and I've given them my reference number. So what else can I do?

Please can you tell me if there is a letter I can send re. harrassment since I keep having the same conversation with them every fortnight.

Or am I in a position to request my CCA? Would that help?

My health doesn't stand up well to stress and this one creditor is tipping me over the edge. I'm frightened they'll end up sending someone to my house and I'm just not strong enough.

My husband tells me that I've done so well to get all this sorted and that we've come so far, and I shouldn't let this one bad egg bring me down.

Sorry I forgot to add that, when I checked my credit file the other day, Barclaycard are marking my file with "missed payments".

This isn't the case, I'm just paying less through Payplan.

I don't know if this makes any difference.

i was in the same situation as you ,re barclaycard /mercers saying not recieved offer of payment from payplan and wanted them to phone them ,keep strong it will get better ,but they did stop intrest and charges
