That's the only problem with this unit - theres only one place to get the maps and their £90 EACH country - otherwise it is a truely fantastic unit - much much better than the Navman icn 530 I've just bought.
this is the reply I got from Garmin - These will be priced at a RRP of £90.08. They are hopefully going to be
available early this month towards March; however we do not have a set
release date at this time although it should be soon.
Online dealers such as https://www.gpsw.co.uk have them listed on their site

The only continental map provided is northern France - not as far as Paris, Brittany and Normandy.0 -

So far I have only actually used it for addresses in England and Yvetot in Northern France, so what you say may be correct...Thanks to all who post constructively.

Roger,
Yes it does show all these other countries, but won't take you there - not even major roads as some systems do - eg try Paris, Rome, Milan, Bruge etc etc. It still is a superb unit at any price.0 -

Sorry have I missed something here ??0 -
They don't want to have to pick from a long list of countries, they want it to automatically default to England when keying a destination address in. Is there any way of making it automatically default to England? Thanks to all who post constructively.

Now £99 on the Comet website, just a couple of days after I ordered one at £129  Will give 'em a ring when it arrives and see if they'll refund the difference but if not I guess I can return it (14 days for distance selling..?) and buy another at the new price0

you might want to post that on the grabbit forum .... lots of people are after them for £99.0
