  • I am very tempted by a quote from E&L insurance which I heard about from a flyer in a weddings magazine. They have different levels of cover depending on how much you want to cover, and up to £6k was £19.50 valid for 2 years. The lowest cover with Debenhams I think was £9k and that was £59.50

I have never heard of E&L (Equine and Livestock) so perhaps if someone has ever used them they could let us know if they any good as it does seem very good value
  • my pet insurance is with them.
I've heard differing reviews from people who've had horses insured with them. Some folk thought they were great some folk said they were a right pain in the perverbial.
but the price swayed me in the end so my dawgies are with them. I've (luckily) not had to use them so that doesnt really help does it?

Only thing I would say with regards to wedding insurance is double check with them. When we looked at this for our wedding last year we only found two that would cover us because I had a pre exisiting condition but not only that even if I hadn't had a pre existing medical condition they wanted to know about my family's pre existing conditions as well and some wouldn't cover us because of that....

I went with E&L too, the cover is enough for the major worries, ie venue going under or dress getting damaged. Mixed reviews but I think any insurance is a pain if you need them to 'cough up'
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:

E& L are horrendously notorious for being a pain in the butt trying to get them to pay out in the event of a claim. Sometimes cheapest isn't best.

Debenhams policy has a £15 cash back on Quidco, Wedding Plan are also on Quidco with 12% cashback. Might be worth checking out as well as E&L.

We went with E&L and I wish people would remember, that you always hear about the horror stories, and not all the thousands of happy customers!
